This article seeks to make fun of the humble Golf club as some players have taken to using the Golf club as a weapon of death and destruction. It should not be taken seriously and is intended to offer uses for frustrated golf players.

With golf catching on in high schools, inner cities, and the family based mini putt, all over the United States the time has come to appreciate the game of Golf.

At the same time, many players (and maybe the wives of players) struggle with the skill and understanding, needed to master this game. It can become a passion that is testing to the impatient. Lets look at other, lesser-known uses for the Golf clubs:

As a home security device

The muscles used for swinging a golf club could be used to act as defense against home invasion, however keeping mind, that you may do more damage to your own belongings and yourself, rather than the intruder. Not recommended for those with fitted ceiling fans.

Children’s toys

Imaging if you have children that have become board with the high tech video games. These are the same games that create a little moving, couch-based life. Give them a Golf club each and many over ripe oranges and you have a source of free entertainment. On the side of caution, this idea would most likely be applied by a father, and could result in mess to clean up afterwards and possibly a screaming wife. Also should only be done outside.

Cat Teaching

If you have even owned a cat, you will know that at times, they like to please the owner be showing how they are a great hunter. This results in the loud meow and the discovery of a dead bird or mouse. In most cases, this would need the owner to handle the almost dead creature. Never again, now take that, Golf club and send the dying creature to its next life- by airmail!

Need the exercise- but can’t afford Gym fees?

A golf club would also make an inexpensive weed wacker for your lawn and the process of removing weeds with your golf club can also act as your exercise for the day. It all rolls together into one nice little package if you really let your mind go. At the same time a firm Grip would be needed on the club.

House Maintenance

You can use it to remove that nasty hornet’s nest from under your roof although you may want to wear long sleeves for that. It can also be handy at removing icicles from your roof as well but this requires some caution if moving above the ground.

There are many users for that high priced set of clubs sitting in the back of the garage. Put them to use before your wife or partner decides they were a bad idea, and sells them to make room for other storage items.

Swimming pools are useful for many purposes. Many people, when they think of pools, think first of the lush structures provided by hotels and resorts, which exist mainly for recreation. Pools, however, are incredibly helpful in fitness. Aquatic exercise is rising in popularity; likewise, more and more pools are being constructed with exercise in mind.

One big reason for the production of pools specifically for fitness purposes is that swimming is great exercise. Not only is it an exercise which is aerobic, making it similar to walking and running, but the stress placed on the joints in swimming is much reduced since the water supports the body and absorbs some of the impact force. With fitness in mind, special pools have been created, both above ground and inground lap pools among them.

A lap pool is very different from other swimming pools in that it is specifically designed for people seeking exercise and fitness by concentrating on swimming laps. Most lap pools are rectangular instead of utilizing the curvier designs favored by recreational pool owners. Plus, lap pools can be built as narrow as just one swimming lane.

Lap swimming is a gentle and effective exercise that can be done by most everyone. Fitness and muscle tone is increased while protecting joints. And it is a wonderful stress reliever.

Property sizes are often small and there is an increased desire for a healthier lifestyle. A long, narrow, lap pool may be the perfect answer. Lap pools are an efficient size and suitable for most yards because they are much smaller and use hold less water than most recreational pools.

A neat feature to some lap pools is to have a flowing current. A one directional current can be added to both the above ground or inground lap pools. The purpose of this is to provide an endless swimming pool feature. This provides an excellent workout for the avid exerciser as they attempt to swim against the current.

The placement of an inground lap pool is independent of whether it is indoors or outdoors. Having it indoors has the advantage of less sensitivity to outdoor temperature fluctuations, but an outdoor pool can be built to accommodate year-round usage. Having the pool heated is very popular amongst both business and residential owners and will make swimming attractive to people no matter what the season is.

The cost of installing a lap pool depends on the size of the pool and which features are to be included. Usually, a larger pool will cost more to install. Adding features such as heating systems and automatic current will also increase the price. Most people consider the costs of installation to be a small price to pay for the exercise and personal enjoyment that they get from their pools.

Stretch marks are one of the biggest skin problems plaguing men and women today. We have to admit: they are not nice to look at and they also suggest that one who has them is not really healthy at all.

Stop Panic Attack: How You Can Cope

- Relaxation Techniques

First, relax your body starting with your shoulders. Be conscious of any tense muscles in your body. Next, gradually tense and relax all the muscle groups and accompany it with breathing exercises. Example, tighten your left leg and take a deep breath in. Then, release the leg muscles while breathing out. You can proceed to moving the right leg, and the rest of your body. Continue moving upwards, one muscle group at a time.

Try breathing exercises. Again, these exercises need time to learn so it is best if you learn and practice these methods beforehand. You can try being conscious of your breathing. Take deep breaths slowly. Purse your lips and breathe out in the same way as blowing a candle. You can also place your hands on your stomach if you want to feel the rapidity of your breathing.

- Positive Affirmations

Affirm yourself. Tell yourself you’re not going crazy, and that you can get over your panic attacks. You are bigger than the panic attack and it’s all in your head. Remind yourself that panic attacks are physically harmless and you are not going to die because of it. The scary sensations are only temporary feelings and not medically dangerous.

- Permanently Get Rid of Panic Attacks

You can choose to suffer with panic attack or choose to permanently get rid of it. A certain e-book boasts a new technique that will help you get rid of panic attacks. This very simple and yet highly effective technique is based on this thought: if you are able to stop fearing the coming of another panic attack, then you can permanently get rid of panic attacks.

When a person experiences a panic attack for the first time, the experience is too great that it leaves an impact on the person’s psyche. This imprint will then start a loop of anxiety, where the sufferer develops an unhealthy fear of having another panic attack. Inside Bodybuilding …Past and Present (Part 1)

I have ‘Rhoid’ rage, This time its haemorrhoids, that’s right, bodybuilding is becoming a pain in the ass. It seems like almost every b.b journal I browse through of late, carries articles and letters concerned with physique standards and professional contests judging results.

Having attended more such muscle show downs than most over an unrelenting half a century, I have certainly witness huge changes, i.e. the evolution of bodybuilding contests and what appears to be the requisites for ’star’ standards, from finalists to winners.

Although always having a private opinion as to who should or should not have won or been placed. Despite suggestions and offers, I have never had either the conviction or more important the courage to judge others.

I would not like to under any circumstances be seen to be criticising the brave judges at any point in this article as I more than anyone understand the pressure that they are put under. You see their results will give some guys the best sponsorship deals and all the other commercial perks that are involved are the losers will end up with nought. Good old Arnold was virtually set up for life by a panel of judges and I am sure he wouldn’t be where he is today if they had opted for another bodybuilder.

To be honest I haven’t got a clue what exact percentage of bodybuilders actually train with the sole object of competing in physique contests. The answer I suspect is just a tiny minority, with most weight trainers having varied and alternative targets, from rehabilitation, to improving their chosen major sport, get fit or stronger, or simply as most do, to improve their own standard of physique, gain or lose weight, and add some muscle

Arnold was an exception to the rule as he knew from his very first squat and dead lift that he wanted to become the world’s best bodybuilding champion. The normal guy in the gym bodybuilder these types of physique contests are something that figures in the very backs of their mind and probably get really pissed off with their over coverage in the muscle mags. In fact if you look around most gyms there is probably only one guy who is suitable for this type of competition even if it only is only at local level. (Coming soon Part 2)

Antioxidants prevent damage as well, while also reducing the chance of mutations and promoting cell repair when consumed as part of a diet or applied in creams or lotions. Vitamin A, vitamin E, lycopenes, carotene, alpha lipoid acid, and some esters of vitamin C have a similar effect. In that case, a prescription pharmaceutical is usually preferable. For instance, prescription strength vitamin A is much more potent and effective than over the counter creams, so discuss this with your physician.

Some products improve skin’s appearance by exfoliating it, removing some of the fine creases and lines. Alpha and Beta Hydroxyl Acid are examples of effective exfoliants. At home, mild dermal abrasion creams can exfoliate physically, as opposed to chemically. All should be used gradually and carefully with professional guidance.

Though wrinkle creams are generally effective, no cream or product can completely remove all signs of wrinkles from the body. Even plastic surgery has limitations. Any claims or guarantees of becoming suddenly youthful are exaggerated, and products making those claims should be regarded with suspicion or avoided altogether.

Prescription anti-aging creams and products are generally more expensive than over the counter solutions, but price alone is no guarantee of effectualness. Even the very best creams will not work for everyone; trial-and-error may be required on a case-by-case basis for a given individual. A physician should be consulted, and all products should be used regularly as directed. Good wrinkle creams are comprised of quality ingredients, and knowing these is critical to choosing one.

Easy exercises that relieve the pain of a bulging disc

Have we not heard the word back pain so often that it is as common as influenza affecting most Americans and individuals everywhere? We stretch, bend, jog or swim to keep fit and healthy. But we seriously consider visiting a doctor or chiropractor when our daily routine becomes a hurdle. Bulging disc is a common condition affecting young and aged population in our country.

Neuro physicians recommend stretching exercises to ease Bulging disc. We first need to go over the anatomy of the back to comprehend how herniated discs affect the back and cause chronic pain. The backbone is a curved bone ‘S’ shaped structure. Vertebrae are stacked one on top of the other starting with the S1 to Lumbar L1 discs and concluding at the sacchrum and coccyx. The vertebrae are lined as building blocks of the back cushioned by soft-jelly like material that enables the back to absorb shock and injury to the back. The jelly like mass is in-between each vertebrae, it covers the circumference of each vertebrae.

When the jelly like substance protrudes out of the vertebrae it results in a condition called a bulging disc. Bulging disc affects young and old individuals and results in chronic pain on the left or right side of the back. This condition affects the lower lumbar region or low back and occurs over a time period. Pain or sciatica occurs when the bulging disc is herniated meaning the bulging disc is pinching a nerve surrounding the spinal cord. Bulging disc can be diagnosed by modern imaging techniques like MRI.

Cortisone injections along with hot and cold temperature therapy, is prescribed by physicians to treat bulging discs. Physical therapy, yoga, and stretching exercises can be used for treating Bulging disc. Affecting the parathyroid glands pseudo gout is considered to be inherited. Misdiagnosed sometimes pseudo-gout is mistaken for Rheumatoid arthritis. Bulging disc is caused when the soft jelly like material moves away from the nucleus and protrudes into the nerve area of the spiral column, causing pain and later results in sciatica affecting both left and right side of the back.

Gout is a condition resulting in deposits of uric acid between the joints. Pseudo gout and gout can also affect the spine resulting in severe back pain. Although, rheumatoid arthritis rarely affects the back it may affect the spine resulting in a condition called myelopathy. It results in inflammation and severe weakening of the ligaments and tendons that connect the vertebrae and leads to instability of the neck and the back. This condition is serious and life threatening.

Bulging disc condition can be alleviated by stretching exercises and yoga. People have known to be relived from chronic back pain due to bulging disc with simple stretching exercises. Yoga ‘asana’ (forms) are i.e. knee rolls, knee lifts, pelvic twists, and sit ups can help low back pain. Stomach muscles are strengthened when yoga or any back exercises is done which compensates for loss of function to the vertebrae. Common yogasanas are recommended which help in stretching the back to improve circulation to the vertebrae. Before taking up such bending and stretching exercises one should be cautious and should it should be done in the presence of a therapeutic and trained yoga exert.
