There exists various type of Hepatitis and one should be prepared to some of them for good health. The first type of Hepatitis is Hepatitis A and its main consequence is a liver misfunction. Hepatitis A is very contagious, especially through food and drinks. Therefore, vaccination is highly recommended. Children are generally given the Hepatitis A vaccine at the age of 12 months and again after 6 months has passed. Nervertheless, adult people who plan to travel to certain countries, especially those ubicated in Central or South America, Asia and Africa should get a Hepatitis A vaccination as a precautionary measure.
