The list goes on and on for the different flowers and herbs that are used to make essential oils. From rose petals to vanilla pods, there is a large number of things that can be used to produce wonderful essential oil blends. Always go with a scent that you like instead of one that is recommended. One person’s sense of smell is different to another and although a particular fragrance may be promoted for a certain use, you will not savor the experience as much if the scent does not appeal to your senses.

Aromatherapy essential oils do not have to be purchased from a store since you can make the oils yourself in the comfort of your own home. You will have to acquire the supplies and a recipe but both of those are easy to obtain from a craft store or from aromatherapy books. You will be amazed at the difference between your own homemade oils and those found in the stores.
