Diet pills are a very aspiring option for those who have failed to lose weight after trying every possible way to do so. When choosing a diet pill it is important to understand what you are getting. Many commercials at various places promise the people to lose weight very quickly and easily if they start to use diet pills for losing weight. But the reality is that there has been no diet pill manufactured till date which would offer a person to lose weight easily and quickly. Weight loss is a slow process which requires a lot of patience and workout. Unless a person has the motivation and the energy to lose weight, he cannot lose even a single pound from his body.

But, does exist a truly effective diet pill? Look below to discover which type of diet pill can help you lose the most weight in the shortest time.

Appetite Suppressants. Appetite suppressants are the most popular. Because these diet pills work closely to fight the cause of weight gain, you have a good chance of keeping the weight off later on. I recommend appetite suppressing diet pills for long term weight loss and maintenance.

Fat Burners. It is very hard to find diet pills that truly burn fat. Many of them will boast great weight loss effects, but in reality, their pills are based primarily on a caffeine ingredient. Some are straight caffeine pills. Others come as green tea and guarana. That said, some do work. A proven fat burner, green tea also has many other benefits. A good way to drop 10 pounds over the course of a few months is to have a hot cup of green tea each day, but when it comes to serious weight loss try appetite suppressing pills.

Carb Blockers. Diet pills that claim to block carbohydrates are the least effective method. In the first place, all of them have white kidney bean extract as a root ingredient. Secondly, they are costly and don’t usually work. They may inhibit the absorbtion of carbs, but not the astronomical amount they claim. Dietrine claims to block up to 1150 calories per day from one pill. Fat chance!

Use a carb blocker, and you’re almost guaranteed to increase the amount of carbs you eat. Why? The answer is psychological. Pop something like dietrine, and attend a party. My bet is you’ll be lured into that false sense of security, and think I can eat all these food because I’m using a carb blocker. Don’t become a victim of the scam. Needless to say, I don’t recommend any carb blockers.

Do Diet Pills Really Work? Even the most effective diet pills are only meant to be taken for a short period of time, usually six months or less. During that time, doctor-prescribed weight-loss drugs can trim anywhere from 5 to 22 pounds, or up to 10 percent of your body weight. But after six months, your body develops a tolerance to these drugs’ effects, and weight loss plateaus. After that, if you don’t also follow a healthy eating and exercise plan, the weight will come right back.

One point that is not to be forgotten is that these pills are not the main food but are just a help in supplementing the needs. They are designed for use in conjuction with a healthy lifestyle, such as a good nutrition and excerise protocol.
